Stefan has performed since the age of 11 as a recitalist, chamber musician, and soloist in such leading halls as the Wiener Konzerthaus, Brucknerhaus Linz, Congress Innsbruck, and Philharmonia Budweis, as well as in concert tours of Sweden, Italy, and Japan. In March 2001, he performed Beethoven's Fourth Piano Concerto with the Bruckner Orchestra at the Brucknerhaus Linz, and has performed with the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, under conductor Okko Kamu. |
Neue Ruhr Zeitung
|
| "Stefan Stroissnig's substantial interpretive, emotional, and technical forces were evident in his performance of the transcendent Lizst Sonata in b minor. Even at his young age, Stroissnig has a deep understanding of the work’s design, and revealed the beauty of its internal references as well as the impact of the Sonata's totality." |

Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung
|
| "Despite his youth, Stefan Stroissnig brought creativity, musical and intellectual maturity, and stupendous technique to every piece in his recital; his playing reminded this listener of the young Gulda. Stroissnig's extraordinary talent was further displayed in the 14-year old's own composition, "La Parole," which revealed a very expressive, and powerful compositional style." |
